The grey carbon tangle in Pirá Paraná

In the context of the Baka Rokarire carbon project, communities of the Pirá Paraná - an indigenous territory deep in the Colombian Amazon rainforest - have been sharply divided. Their current authorities filed a protection action against the project, which was approved and began selling its first credits this year. These are the milestones of that conflict.
